    Stoopid is as Stoopid does...

Your probably thinking that whatever comes after that bold face text is going to be bad. But actually it's not that bad. Trevor and I checked Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, and The Ziggans. This was our first show at the 4th & B. Now that were both 21, a whole new world is open to us. What a great place to see a show. They even have people who put soap on your hands and give you a paper towel in the bathroom. I can't wait to see some of my favorite acts at this place. As for the show, it was not bad at all. The Ziggans are Taylor's new favorite band. But they have been around a long time. I didn't realize that they were that old. By that old I mean in their late 30's. Trevor was fortunate enough to have money for a couple of Sammy Adams. I was not so fortunate, I don't have Jason ProductShop kind of money. The Ziggans were cool, we toasted to Taylor for being there in spirit. I actually showed some heart and stopped all my jokes about Taylor not going. Pepper came next and did their best Sublime impression. They played a loud and fast set and were really happy to be there. At this point in the night it became more of a party. As time passes, and the alcohol is consumed everyone is having a great time. Pepper didn't really do anything for me personally. I didn't know any of their songs so that never helps. But the lead singer's voice was just too similar to Mr. Nowell. Their bassist really bugged me too. He went from saying "respect women" to (at one point a fan hands him a shot) to everyone's favorite "show me some tits." No tities for you Pepper. Not the best time for that many rowdy people. But we did get titties during Slightly Stoopid. We didn't even have to ask. Slightly Stoopid was a much different vibe that the other two. They have a great percussion section with congo drums and such. They also have some nice affects going. The bassist and lead guitarist/singer were swapping instruments the whole time. Pretty talented guy. My only complaint was that the bassist didn't have to rap every couple of songs. He was horrible. They played for over 2 1/2 hours. We left at 1:20 and they were still playing. It was the last show of the tour and they were really happy to be there being homers. Good show with great extras. Wish I knew some more music from the bands. Can't wait to see bands I know at 4th and B
