    Broke. Sick. New Interpol

Man it sucks being sick. Yesterday was spent working and then sitting at home doing nothing until passing out at midnight. Got bitched by the ocean (again) on Sat. While riding Taylor's sponge board, the leash broke off and I was stuck out in the middle of the shore breakers and a the main waves farther out. I started to panic for a little bit, and then remembered that I know how to fucking swim and I'll be ok. Plus seeing a 12 year old girl surf by you kinda makes you realize that you are going to live. After seeing Fahrenheit 9/11 on Friday (I would post a review, but it's been blogged to death.) Taylor and I check out The Terminal. Getting in for free is always sweet and sneaking brews in is even sweeter. Ya were a bunch of drunks. Terminal was pretty good, but had some moments that would never (EVER) happen. But it's a movie and it was free so I'm not complaining.

A few years ago I got into The Strokes, Hives, White Stripes and all those "garage" bands. While discovering the world of indie music I came upon a band named Interpol. I just bought their cd without hearing it and it really open my ears to another world of music out there. Now that i've finished the corny "this band changed my life" thing, Interpol is done with their new album. Antics will be out on Sept. 28th. Joy.
