Trevor, Taylor, and the Sonic Youth

Dreams are a funny thing. You usually don't remember them, but when you do they are most likley intersting. In one particular dream I had this morning...Trevor, Taylor, Jammie and I are at a Sonic Youth show. I don't know why it's Sonic Youth...I own one of their albums and think their alright but am not a rabid fan by any means. It's being held at this run down theatre with a really low ceiling. Oh and the lighting was poor but sort of added to the atmosphere. In the middle of "Teenage Riot" (i think) the audience just goes into a frenzy and have a little mini riot and then run out of the building. But Sonic Youth just keeps playing and never stopped during the little riot. I forgot to mention we where in in the front row, but their was about 30 feet of empty floor in front of us.

I look behind me and see about 30 people scattered throughout the audience. I guess they didn't feeling like joining an angry mob. When I turn back around, Sonic Youth just stops playing. Then get off stage and ask Trevor and Taylor if they would like to take their place so they could get a little break. Yes, Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon ask if they would like to front Sonic Youth for a bit. The guys just shurg their shoulders and go "ok" and just tune up. Taylor is fiddling with a bass like he is a pro, and Trevor has put on a red hat and pair of headpones. He clears his throat a few times before he is going to play. I scream, "Ya Trevor!" and he proceeds to say "whaaa?" "take the headphones off!"

    Jammie wakes me up.

When I told Trevor and Taylor about my funky dream, they wonder what song they would of played.
