I'm not a big fan of 3 hour movies. I don't believe that the human attention span is made to sit in a chair and watch a movie for three hours. I already know your comeback. But Mario what about a sporting event? Those are three hours long. True, but their are more highs and lows and jumping around that breaks the time up. That and chicken wings. The Lord of Rings was the first 3 hour movie that I actually enjoyed. But even some of those movies were a little long at parts. Then again it was 3 in the morning and we were all stoned out of our tiny little minds. (dude, 2 blunts for 2 towers! hehe ya...ahh good foolish times)
So all that being said, we are handed Peter Jackson's next epic, King Kong. Everything about the movie looks great. When was the last time we had a good big Hollywood movie? Well the answer to that is Batman Begins but this one is setting up very nicely. That was until I heard that it was THREE hours longs. But damn it looks good, so I guess I'll have to sit through it. See I love movies like most people. But if I'm the least bit tired chances are I will fall asleep. To enjoy a movie I need to be wide awake (not 2 blunts in at midnight) or I has to be a damn (and I mean damn) good movie. It bothers Jammie because I fall asleep half the time we watch somthing at her house. Alright I got to be honest I stopped halfway through this post and just picked it up an hour later. So I'll get back to you guys about the movie...even though I have a no-movie review policy for my blog....err..oh well.
