I have a blog so I HAVE to do this...

Everyone labels every recap of every year as "The Best Of" Well I can't listen to every album or watch every movies (I doubt these people can either) So I'm going to simply list my favorite things of this past year.

    Best Albums:
I probably bought the least amount of CD's this year than I ever have before. I blame moving out. So here are my favorites from my narrow point of view*

    1. The Walkmen- A Thousand Miles Off
This albums simply had the most of amount of songs that were just great. Kudos for the punk song too (track 6)
    2. The Oohlas- Best Stop Pop
I've had their demos for over a year, so I was thrilled when their studio album finally came out. Now all I have to do is see them
    3. The Clipse- Hell Hath No Fury
Many people had Fishscale as the best rap album of 06. But I think this is the greatest album about selling coke in a long time. Note to rappers: No more rapping about selling coke. Clipse and Ghostface have mastered it. Let's move on.

    Best Purchase:

    My LG CU500
    Goddamn I love this thing.

Brent: "If you could have sex with your phone, I think you would."
Me: "Hold on I think I have the feature."

    Best Movie:
    *ditto

    1. Thank You For Smoking
I could not stop laughing the whole time. I couldn't say that for Borat.
    2. Little Miss Sunshine- I didn't understand all the backlash for this movie. Haters. Great movie not matter what anyone says.
    3. The Departed- Amazing. Keeps you on your toes. Everyone in this movie is badass. I wanted to punch Matt Damon in the face after see this. Good Job Matt.

    Fin.
