Looks like I may actually have a weekend (+monday!)
Friday: The Oohlas @ Beauty Bar San Diego.
Never been to the B. Bar, but I've only heard good things. Never seen The Oohlas, but I've heard only good things
Saturday: Maybe a movie? Black Snake Moan? Eh. Zodiac? Fuck ya. David Fincher returns...finally.
Sunday: probably nothing but work.
Monday: Albert Hammond Jr. w/The Mooney Suziki
The Mooney's were one of the first real shows I ever went too. I went with Trevor to see them and The Hives. Remember them? This was waaaaay back in like 01. The Mooney's gave us a sonic slap in the face and upstaged the Hives. Good times. I miss The Scene on Convoy. Oh and Albert Hammond, what can you say. The coolest member of the Strokes who has written some catchy diddy's. Check them out on MySpace.

Clipse- Mr. Me Too (Z.A.K. remix)- Take Mr. Me Too, cut out Pharell, and use an old soul song. Result? Just as good if not better than the orginal. A complelty different vibe. (mp3)

Fifty On Their Heels- Occupation- Winner of the Best Punk Album of 06 at the SD Music Awards. Good old school punk song. Still need to check these guys out around town. Plus their managed by one of the coolest bloggers in SD, Cat Dirt. (mp3, yousendit)
