Here is something that I love. You know when you make fun of someone or something and you never really see any humor about it/them anywhere? But then someone finally does it and you totally say "Yes!Finally, that's what I'm saying." I had a moment like that the first time I watched 40 Year Old Virgin. When Paul Rudd talks about Michael McDonald and how if he has to hear him sing again he will burn the place down. I can't stand Michael McDonald. It goes back to stocking at Longs Drugs. They would have all these MM songs on the rotation. But they would be covers of perfectly great songs. Smokey Robinson, Ain't No Mountain High Enough. What's wrong with them? No need to cover them. So that was refreshing to hear.
The same thing happened today when I was reading Deadspin. They had an article on tracking NFL "Expert" Sean Salisbury's stupid quotes (SSW=Sean Sailsbury Wisdom appropriately titled.)from the past football season. I've been bombing on Sean since way before he got this giant push from ESPN (which I still don't get why you would want him over someone like Eric Allen on a regular basis) So keep it coming Deadspin.
Fin.
