The Carrots are coming to San Diego May 12th for Skull Control. Yes I already know it's only January. The Carrots are a 60's girl groupish band from Austin Texas and they are great. Go to their Myspace and check out "Jimmy Don't Cry" That song is where the great title for this post comes from. I first heard about The Carrots from the Skull Control blog. Mario Odurno always finds these great bands from all over the place. The best part is, he usually sets them up with a San Diego gig. He did the same for Finally Punk (who have a few members in The Carrots) a cool rowdy group from Austin as well. So get your beehives and soda pops and come with me.....in May. Yes I know it's January.
