After having a conversation with my Mom this morning, I realized that my knowledge of the economic crisis was not as good as I once thought. The economic downturn happened at about the time I starting listening to NPR all the time (instead of most the time). But that's another post. But their show Marketplace is excellent for people who have limited finance understanding (hey). But they get experts to explain things in ways you can all understand. So it was nice when I found this on the daily run of blogs...
*10 links to walk you through the finacal crsis by way of Kottke. It has some really good stuff that talks about many different aspects of this whole mindfuck. It really is one.
The coolest (for finance) link is from the New York Times. What Your Global Neighbors Are Buying
gives you what the U.S. and other major countries buy. But in an outstanding, simple graphic display of data.
Finance the final frontier.
