I have a fairly simple recap of the weekend (+monday) On Friday Jammie, Jacyln, and I went down to San Diego Nights. We roamed around the Ruben H. Fleet Science Center and played with the same things as when we were kids. Ate some overpriced Spanish food but loved the crapes at the end from the Frech booth. Saturday is a bit of a blur but I remember that it ended watching old episodes of Fraiser and drink Chimay. Ale brewed by monks! That a was a great show that will probably be underated in the annals of comedy history.More on the Chimay some other time. We also had to smoke inside because it was so damn cold out side.
Last night I went down to the Casbah to watch RJD2 with John and Joel. They happen to work at a sushi place so got a nice discounted meal with plenty of booze thrown in. We got to the Casbah and watched the planes buzz overhead for a bit. They are only like 50 or so feet above you so it's great. I was really happy to find a little spot where you can see the plane land on the runway but the other guys don't care. But I guess since I started working at a airport, I've become a bit of a plane nerd. RJD2 was pretty good, but it just made me really long to see DJ Shadow. Maybe one day. Well it's a bit too late to still be up I should be going to sleep...after Harvey Birdman.
