Everyone with a blog in the San Diego area has said something about the fire. I have 2 things to say because the last thing you need is many comments from me when my house was never in danger:
1. Big Ups to the Fire Fighters and all the other safety crews. Amazing thing y'all did. I have a friend who was a volunteer Fire Fighter out in Ramona. Talking to him really gives you a sense out just how horrific and hard this whole ordeal was.
2. Yes this was a terrible event that happened. But just stop comparing it to Katrina. Not even comparable. That goes for the media (esp.) and you ignorant people out there that like to use this as evidence to put one race over another. You know who you are.
