Well it was a great three months. But alas things don't always work out the way you want them too. In a about a week I will have to move and the destination I am not excited for. I will miss everything about you ye ole Oceanside. The constant buzz of the bus on Coast Highway, the Tranny that hangs out by the Liquor/Bait & Tackle shop who waves to me as I ride by on my bike. I will miss being able to ride my bike anywhere. Drunk on my way back from the bar's I will surly miss. Your laid back vibe always suited my demeanor and I will miss my great neighbor's (shout out to Dan and Michelle, thanks for all the beers!)
For me it's back to the most uncool location on earth: Mom's house. I would love to live in Oceanside or relocate to North Park or some other hip enclave. But this move is strictly economic. I just can't live on my own and make car payments and go to school. Well I can, but I have no money left over to save or spend on activities. So I will be the guy who lives at home to most people. That's fine. Whenever I feel like a loser I will look at my big pile of money that I will be sleeping on soon. Coming home looking for home cooked munchies is always nice too. So thanks for the memories Oceanside. I will be back though. I will still eat breakfast at Hill Street Cafe. The Dias de los Muertos is soon and a brother always needs some herbs. Take care, you will be missed.
Sincerly,
Mario.
