I'm getting too old for this shit.

After having to endure the shock of 0.4 against the Lakers with my Spurs. Then last week having to deal with the sudden retirement of Ricky Williams comes the news of a Dodgers trade. After not doing any moves the entire season, General Manager Depodesta makes a deal with the Marlins:

    Florida gets-
Paul Lo Duca, Guerrimo Mota, and Juan Encarsion (i know its wrong)

    Dodgers get-
    Hep Sop Choi
    Brad Penny
    Top AA pitching prospect.

I'm crushed folks. P.Lo brought back the soul of the Dodgers. He is what being a Dodger was all about. I'm gonna miss his play and everything he brought. Good luck with everything Paulie.

I already wrote somthing on the Dodgerboard, so i'll just be cutting and pasting that. I really am in shock. I can't believe we shook up our team this much while we are in first place. Unreal

    From the Dodgerboard:

I think some people are just really heartbroken and still think we are living in the 60's when baseball was baseball. Some of you guys who are really positive about this whole thing seem to have no attachment to some of these guys (i could be wrong) .I really cant believe P.Lo was in the trade. I'm gonna miss his play and his heart. I mean the guy made a blown up sign in front of his locker with a quote from Pads general manager Kevin Towers about the Dodgers "Lacking Heart." Thats awesome. Depo thinks this is gonna help the club win. What else can you ask for? He isn't doing it to spite anyone. Dont forget at the end of the its a business. We will just have to see what happens.Maybe its somthing bigger. Who knows. Im really worried if these guys are going to be distracted during the biggest series of the year. Go Dodgers.
